Israel and Australia have some of the best medical research minds in the world and AUSiMED is an organisation that brings these researchers together, arranging and fundraising for collaborative medical research between both countries. AUSiMED is also the first charity in Australia that will soon be offering a model of fundraising called Venture Philanthropy where Foundations can get their donations potentially repaid with interest if a research project has commercial success. The CEO from AUSiMED will describe examples of this collaborative work in breast cancer, Alzheimer’s, heart and prostate cancer.
