Tom was born Tomi Fleischman on June, 27th, 1938 in Bratislava, Czecholslovakia. He was captured by the Gestapo and sent to the Sered Labour Camp. He was first sent to Auschwitz, and then interned at Theresienstadt.
George was born in Rapziejow, Poland on February 1, 1927. George survived Rapziejow Ghetto and Czenstochowa Ghettos before finally ending up in Buchenwald. He was liberated from a death march on the way to Thereisenstadt.
