Birthright- over valued, over funded, effective?

What is the point of birthright? Are we getting our communal bang-for our buck?

1/3 of Birthright is community funded- but how effective is that money in connecting our 18-26 year olds to Israel? What can actually be achieved in 10 days, how do our communal politics fit in and what is the lasting effect of the program?
This panel will explore issues around identity, follow-up and ways in which we as a community can capitalise better on what has now become a 'right of passage' for many of our young people.
