David Knoll AM is a Sydney barrister. He is a Past President of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, the peak body of the NSW Jewish community, and continues to serve on the Executive Council for Australian Jewry.
A Visiting Fellow at the Faculty of Law University of NSW, in 2011 he was chosen as one of the “40 Inspirational Alumni” featured for the 40th Anniversary of the UNSW Law School. In 2010 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for service to the Jewish community and for the promotion of interfaith relations. His essay on "Faith Conflict and Society" was published in the 50th Anniversary edition of Quadrant Magazine (October 2006).
