Deborah Blackman is a qualified social worker who completed her degree at UNSW in 1994. She specialises in child protection and, based on extensive research, she has developed an integrated, interactive program to empower children, their parents and carers with essential skills and tools to keep children safe. Over the last seven years Deborah has implemented her program at several schools in Sydney. She has also worked with many community organisations and parent groups to conduct workshops and develop policies and protocols to reduce the risk of child sexual assault. Blackman provides one-on-one consultations with individuals seeking her advice and expertise regarding protective behaviours for their child.
