Fergal Davis is a Senior Lecturer in the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law. Before moving to UNSW he spent over 10 years as a lecturer in the UK and Ireland. His research is concerned with the maintenance and protection of civil liberties in times of emergency. In particular his research focuses on the interaction between law and politics. He has a particular interest in jury trial. Davis is a regular media commentator in print, online, on TV and radio. He has an occassional column in the Australian Jewish News and also tweets about law and politics.
