Mandi Katz is a governance professional in the financial services sector and when she is not working is immersed in Jewish community. She is the  president of Shira Hadasha, an orthodox egalitarian synagogue. She was co-chair of Limmud Oz Melbourne from 2013 to 2017 and is co-chair of programming for the 2018 event.  She was a  founding director of the New Israel Fund Australia Foundation. She is married to Ashley Browne and they have three adult children.
